Make Google Drive Files Available Offline If you choose the Mirror files option, this will download and store everything on both your Mac and Google Drive, taking up the physical hard drive space on your Mac. The second option is simply named Google Drive. In order to do so, just click the Add folder button on the right, then select the folder that you want to back up.
